A language exchange works when each person has room to learn. Start with a small topic, ask questions and agree on how you would like to practice.
Find a shared language
Home starts with your learning languages. You can choose another language or Any language and use current-residence country filters. Native and learning language badges describe member answers, not certified proficiency.
Keep it welcoming
General and language rooms are for eligible signed-in members. They are not publicly crawlable transcripts. Private groups have separate owner, admin and member permissions.
Safety and privacy
Keep personal contact details and exact locations private. You choose whether to share cities. Use Report or Block from a member’s overflow menu, and manage your own blocks in Settings. Avoid sharing passwords, verification codes or financial information.
Questions and support
Email codes confirm control of an email address; they are not identity verification. Messages are access restricted and are not end-to-end encrypted. Members can contact Polygreet Team in the app. Staff replies show an approved display name without a member profile link.
